The SKEETERS MOTORSPORTS family has been motorcycle enthusiasts for 3 generations. We strive to share our passion with you to make you feel like part of the family, whether it’s bench racing or sharing the many adventures we all have on our motorcycles.

Cecil “Skeeter” Hollenbeck  1st Generation Racer

(Inspiration for starting a motorcycle shop)

  • Purchased his first bike in March of 1954 (a used 1953 Triumph) from his friend Bud Martin.
  • Started competing in field meets and scrambles in the early 50’s.
  • Skeeter started racing competitively in flat track and T.T events in Southern California in the late 50’s and early 60’s.
  • While racing a 250cc BSA for Valley Motorcycle sales Skeeter racked up Over 100 main event wins at El Cajon Speedway.
  •  In 1958 he received the #1 plate for district 38 flat track racing.
  • Skeeter finished the 1960 district 38 racing series with High points for the year. (Combined flat track road and desert races.)
  • Skeeter started racing offroad in district 38 and Baja race in the mid 70’s.
  • In 1979 he won the #1 plate for class 38 in both the SCORE and District 38 series.


Randy Hollenbeck 2nd Generation Racer

  • Rode his first race (Barstow to Vegas) at age 16 on a 400 Husqurvana.
  • In 1973 he rode the first Tecate 500 Enduro with his father (Skeeter).
  • By 1977 he started competing in district 38 desert races, grand prix, the Tecate Enduro and many other events.
  • Randy was a Husqvarna supported rider from 1978 to 1981.
  • In 1979 Randy and Chip Howell finished 3rd place overall in the SCORE Mexicalli 250.
  • Randy, Chip Howell, Rick Finger and Rocky Tuggle won the 1981 Tecate Enduro team overall.


Dustin and Dean Hollenbeck 3rd Generation Rider/ Racer

  • Started competing in grand prix and local desert races in 2000.
  • Dustin finished 3rd in points for district 37 grand prix 4-stroke expert class in 2006.
  •  In 2007 Dean rounded out the year finishing 2nd in the 4-stroke amateur class for the big 6 grand prix series.
